Hey Guys!

I have been slacking. July is a month that I’m going to kick so many things into high gear. I’m going to get back to writing every day, and if I can’t get on the internet for whatever reason, I will write in my notebook or on my phone’s notepad.

We had our level 2 ultrasound today. Everything looks awesome and healthy and this baby definitely has a penis. I was laughing at how he’s going to pee on us a lot when we change his diaper.

It was kind of a fiasco this morning, trying to get to the right spot in this not so amazing hospital. Even trying to figure out where the right spot was.

See, normally I don’t have to drive but 5 minutes to get to the birthing center. Well, we drove 30 minutes to get to the hospital, and there are about 5 or 6 buildings in this hospital. NONE OF WHICH WERE MENTIONED ON THE CONFIRMATION CALL. Just the most basic of the name, ya know, the one that is in all of these buildings. So we parked, and then ran around for 30 minutes being told this way and that way…until finally we ended up right next to where we started in a different building. So, we were late and I’m emotional and hot and worried we’re gonna miss this appointment… and she was able to put us back in at 11. It was already 10:01 so it really wasn’t that long of a wait, but ya know, it was kind of overwhelming running all which ways in 90 degree humid Florida. She’s asking me these questions that I don’t know the answers to because my birthing center has all those papers with all that info I don’t use.

I almost cried again when she called my name. Tears of relief and nervousness and finally because I had to pee and was getting hungry.

Well, baby didn’t want to move in the easiest position at first, but we still got all of the images, and everything looked great. Though, at 21wk5d, he’s a big little man. Estimated 1 pound and 2 ounces, which is like 6 oz over the baby books’ averages.

I’ll write more during the day. I’m a sleepy Hailey.
